Common questions
Who is Fly Console for?
Part 61 and Part 141 flight schools, including schools that also rent aircraft. It handles one base or several, and one person can belong to more than one school with a single login.
What does the free trial include?
Every feature, for 14 days. You don't need a card to start. You can import your data during the trial and keep it when you subscribe.
Are there per-aircraft or per-student fees?
No. The price is $199 per school per month regardless of fleet size or number of students, instructors or renters.
Can we bring data from our current system?
Yes. The import wizard reads CSV and Excel files for people, accounts and balances, aircraft, maintenance items, future reservations, flight history, training history and more. It runs a dry run first, and an import can be rolled back.
Does it support Part 141 training records?
Yes. You build your syllabus, enroll students, and instructors grade each lesson. Records are signed by instructor and student, then locked; corrections are made as amendments. A printable 141.101 training record is included.
How do students pay?
Each customer has an account with a running balance. Flights post to it automatically at check-in. Students can pay online by card, or staff can record cash, check or terminal payments.
Do we have to use every module?
No. Scheduling rules are set to off, warn or block per school, and roles control which menus each person sees.
Can we cancel?
Yes, at any time. You can export all of your data as a ZIP file before you go.
